]i am thinking that this is a liar's post.[/B].. i am very surprised that USCIS went to extent of finding H4 inconsistencies and denying a dependent GC... that would take the cake... it makes it sound like USCIS is out to catch people with the smallest slightest mistakes... i do not think that is the case...

As a loyal reader of greatandhra.com shared a blasphemous incident with us through mail and we have written and uploaded that news yesterday. And that is about Lord Ganesh�s picture on beer bottles made by one of the US breweries.

Countless mails have inundated the mail box of greatandhra.com admin with sharing of anguish by hundreds of readers for this blasphemous act of that breweries company. They stated that they have contacted that Lost Coast Brewery with a complaint and also forwarded the response mails from that company. All the forwarded mails have got the same �copy-paste� response from Lost Coast GM/Sales. Here is that:

Please note that I will act to evaluate this issue and meet directly with the owner group towards mitigating your concerns. It is good that many are fighting with that company to see the bottles removed from stalls immediately. The follow up on this incident requires continuous force and Hindu community should see that such blasphemy will not repeat again. And also ensure that those beer bottles are not in market with Lord Ganesh or any other divine picture of Hindu religion. Some suggested to make this news reach Sivasena, RSS and VHP as well. And we wish our readers do that as the voice of thousands will be louder than that of one.

Not entirely accurate. H visas have dual intent. You can tell them you will go on H1 and eventually get a GC and citizenship and the consulate cant do a thing. But if you are going for a tourist visa, then they will deny it. (But dont go and actually try saying something like that... you never know)
Secondly, in the past filing LC was not proof of Immigration intent. It was I-140. I dont know what it is with PERM. But look at it this way, the first GC related document that reaches USCIS with your signature and name is the actual proof of intent. I wonder if that is still your I-140 application.

Hey guys,
See guys, My original LC was approved with PD of 2003 from this same company but I-140 was denied due to A2p and now is in appeal. This lc sub is from other worker with lower salary and he left the company 3 yrs ago and I am still working here. It's not like a desi consultancy where they sell approved labor, hold your h1 so you can't transfer your h1, get pay cut and put innocent people's status in jeopardy and create problem for everyone else who want to do LC sub in a honest way. It's a genuine LC substitution and I want to do it as long as the law allow me to do that.
I am also fraustrated with USCIS messed up policy of doing whatever they want and hopefully something will work out for all of us in good way!

Thanks jsb....I didn't know this....But I think its still better if I wait for 140 approval...Then atleast one other uncertainty will be removed from my GC journey...Hopefully it would only take a month or two more than normal processing time for my 140...If it gets delayed further, then I might use it anyways..It's nice to know though that I have an option..Thanks again

1. Stick with my current company and take the money.
2. Switch to new employer right away and file new PERM.
With option 2, if I change to this employer, I will lose that good chunk of money.
I don't have a suggestion but a question for you. What is this money that you get if you stick with the company after they lay you off. Why would you lose the money if you join company B? I am sorry I just thought it was kind of strange.

I did a bit more reasearch and found out that, I won't loose the EB3 priority date after the EB2 I-140 approval. I will have both options (EB3 & EB2) open. I will be able to use either of them depending upon what is current at that time.

Thanks for your reply. The lawyer did suggest that we could go for EB2 but I did n't know if it would be good idea. The reason I ask is when I look at the visa bulleting EB2 priority dates have retrogressed rather badly when compared to EB3 priority dates. I have been hearing rumors that EB3 might move faster than EB2. I am confused by why the priority dates for EB2 is worse than EB3. Could someone explain?

The approval came with stamping notification for chennai consulate (as at the time her H-1b was applied this year in March, her state of residence was in chennai consulate region).
However in April this year she moved to Mumbai and then to USA. I've heard that you can go to stamping at the consulate region you've been staying for the past 6 months. Since she was at Mumbai for half of the time and then in USA, does it give us liberty to choose Mumbai consulate for stamping instead? Would there be any issues? We are thinking that at the time of interview, if they ask she can let them know she has moved to Mumbai and has her address there now. Would that be okay?

If this happens, there will be some other type of insurance for the bank accounts that will be set up at that time, btw , if your money is in any of the sensitive banks it is better to move it out to more stable banks.
