Hi Friends.
I got the pink slip 3 weeks back with one month severance. So my target was to secure the job in one month to avoid loss of pay. Finally secured the job with 3 offers from 3 top companies.
Some tips if it may be helpful to others , that I recently expereinced
1. Read your resume thoroughly and see if there are anything that you can improve and make the resume with the core skills, do not make the resume of mix of different profiles, like dba, architect, project manager, make them all seperate.
2. Try to make the submission to the direct employer or recruiter on top of the chain. You can do that finding contacts on linked in.
3. Do not compromise a lot, this makes these recruiters to think that you are vulnerable for any exploitation, (happened with me, I kicked there butt after getting selected and telling them on why did I do that)

Your company would be better off by submitting audited financial to avoid any possible RFP on ability to pay! Also ability to pay not only depends on current standing, if your employer is filing more EB2 for future jobs then he/she may have to prove the business necessity as well.

Employer cannot revoke I-140 application after 180 days of filling I-485. No matter what the scenario is.
employer can revoke the I-140 at any time. If you have crossed 180 days since filing I-485, the revocation does not effect your I-485 approval.

Earlier there was a report in the Washington Post that the USCIS denied that the USCIS worked ceaselessly and frantically during the weekends (two days) before July 1, but it has been admitted since then the employees indeed worked hard during the two days. I think after 180 Days you should be ok.
The problem is 12 years experience might not make you eligible for EB2. But The job requirement should fulfil EB2 requirement.

I got all the receipts and FP notice from VSC on 10/15. Everything was filed on 7/31 and sent to TSC. FP date was 10/30. Got EAD last week and they want ID again for AP. 485 has been trasnferred to TSC now.

Called her. But she is interviewing Ashish who is in Manhattan, and even though i'm not Indian and since i'm working in Westchester (about 10~15) miles from the city she would not be able to conduct the interview.

Any more thoughts on this issue. I am making a list of documents in three categories: (i) docs/info needed absolutely (ii) docs that are not must but might help (iii) docs that are not needed at all. Please edit this list based on your research (if you can add links/cite docs to support that would be great).
With long delays many people will be using AC21 and we might see these question repeatedly - a sticky thread can really help.
(i) Documents or information that is essential (if you don't have these documents or info don't even think about changing jobs and just stay put at old employer)
485 receipt number
Alien Registration number from I140 approval (if its already done)
Employment letter from the new employer with title/function same/similar to labor application
Job functions from approved labor/I140 to get the above

I filed my 485/EAD/AP last year and recently changed my address. Besides filing an AR11, what are the other steps I need to do? Should I be calling USCIS to make sure the new address gets reflected on my 485 application?

Yes or you can do it online too. It takes a while for the change to reflect, but you will know when it happens as you will receive an update through email and usually also a confirmation letter from CIS.

Since I have made an interview appointment at US embassy in my country in early June. If it only lasts to June 30, I will cancel the interview. Thanks again.
