    I did it online on 3/21/09 and got approved for me and my wife on 3/31/09. 10 days total turn around! I was amazed to see USCIS's efficiency on cases filed online. I heard the opposite that if you file online it was taking long time. Mine was at NSC

    Are people getting soft lud on 485 recently?.

    The reason why i am asking this is my 485 did not have any LUD for past 1 year and i got one today for all my 485(mine,dependents). 140 did not have any LUD only 485s. No AP,EAD renewals..

    I know from previous threads it means nothing. Just wanted to check. Was trying to not post about this but at last i posted.

    yesterday the NSC date for I-485 was Mar 01. 2007. Today its back to Sep 06. Man, these are total mind games!

    Is this NEW employer or same employer .

    If NEW employer ,then u can apply for new H1B petition but cannot ask for extension of stay .
    Extension of stay is for someone who is already in USA on H1B status .

    Not to be too ignorant, but it sounds like you can use any strobes as long as the triggering mech. works with your camera. I would prefer wireless. I guess I wasn't aware that the E-TTL wouldn't factor in either. Boy, I have a lot to learn. Thanks guys.

    I don't know about legal risks but health-wise that sounds quite risky.

    I can't believe to what extent some people will go to earn money!

    Boss, don't make yourself a guinea pig. No amount of money is worth it.

    If every one thinks like you, how in the world would drugs be developed to cure the diseases? :D :) Note that before any drugs gets to the stage of human subjects research, it would have completed several trials to ensure that its safe. Adverse events may happen during the trial but in recent studies, not many.

    Generally, there will be an orientation and screening before enrollments, you will get all the information at that stage and you may choose not to enroll or if you have any particular condition identified during screening, you will not even be enrolled.

    Risks are very minimum. Good luck.

    Please indicate whether your pending I-485 is family-based or employment-based.

    ...There are two options Family based and employement based.

    As I am on H1B I selected Employment based. But, What should I select for my wife H4... Is hers Employement based or Family Based?

    Please Advise soon...

    Hi
    My H1B expires on sept 30th 2010.(passport has vaild visa also stamped in it till sept 30th)
    Extension has been applied . If extension is approved say by august, can I go for stamping in august end.Basically how soon can i go for h1b stamping before old stamping expires.
    If there is a problem in stamping can i return on the old visa stamp.

    I have been to the interview before approximately 60 days of visa expiration 3 times and no issues.
    Last year when I went for interview I was told that my visa is approved and I will get the passport in 5-7 days but when I did not get the passport after 15 days I called embassy and was told that my case is in admin processing and will take up to 60 days. Since my previous visa was valid so I asked for my passport and got it and came on the old visa stamp.
